BLA leader surrenders

QUETTA: A leader of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), along with 21 other militants, laid down arms during a ceremony at the Frontier Corps Madadgar headquarters here on Friday

Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti and civil and military officials witnessed the surrender of BLF leader Ainuddin and his associates.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, the event is the latest in a string of ceremonies held in different parts of Balochistan during which hundreds of militants have surrendered.

Prominent among such militants is militant leader Balkh Sher Badini, who laid down arms in January this year.
