OPPO A57's sales ranked as second best in world in July 2017

Global industry analysis firm, Counterpoint recently released a market research report for the month of July 2017. The results show that the recently launched OPPO phones A57 and R11 were among the best-selling android phones worldwide in July.

OPPO A57 is available in Pakistan for Rs 22,899.

These OPPO phones secured the third and fourth position slots in the list of top 10 smartphones for the month of July. They were preceded by the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, which bagged the top spots in terms of sales.

The OPPO A57 is best known for its camera quality - it has a 16 MP flagship front camera with Beautify 4.0 which gives bright effects even in low-light. It also offers a hand gesture feature that enables users in taking selfies with just a hand gesture. With the Bokeh effect you can take selfies with a blurry background effect.

Other features include:

  • 3 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM

  • 16 MP front camera, 13 MP rear camera

  • 2900 mAh battery

  • 64-bit octa-core processor

  • 5.2 inches screen with HDR support

  • ColorOS 3.0, based on Android 6.0

The OPPO R11 on the other hand comes with dual 20 MP cameras with bokeh effect.

Apart from the 20 MP front camera for selfies, the OPPO R11 has a 16 MP rear camera, 4 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM, ColorOS 3.1 based on Android 7.1 and 5.5 inches screen.

With immense evolution in the technological world, the giants of telecom gadgets are slightly fading with respect to their market share in the smartphone world and many newer brands are taking the lead with their sleek design and efficient features.

This has led to intensive competition among industry players, each striving to produce and sell consumer friendly and affordable smartphones.
