Rizwan Jamali and Imdad Jamali, leading the protesters, approached Mr Shah when he was visiting Bachal Shah Miani locality to attend an event. They told him that two youths of their community, Ajab Gul Jamali and Inam Jamali, were shot and wounded by a team of the A-Section police in the name of encounter with criminals about two months ago. They said that while the community was pursuing legal course against the “fake” encounter, the police resorted to implicating the youths in false cases of dacoity, possession of arms and attack on police.
