Abbottabad board announces Inter exam results

ABBOTTABAD, Aug 23: The Pakistan International Public School and College has bagged 11 positions in the annual intermediate examinations of the Abbottabad Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.

Speaking at the press club here on Friday, the secretary and controller of the board examination declared that 5,725 candidates (43 per cent) out of a total of 14,131 candidates appeared in the examinations, had passed.

Maira Siraj of the Pakistan International Public School topped the examination with 933 marks and Ehsan Rasheed of the Abbottabad Public School and College stood Second with 928 marks while Hassan of the Pakistan Scout Cadet College, Batrasi, got Third position with 917 marks.

In the Pre-Medical Group (Girls), Maria Siraj with 933 marks stood First while Shagufta Kanwal and Humaira of the Telecom Girls Public School and College, Haripur, got Second and Third positions with 912 and 906 marks, respectively.

In the Pre-Medical Group (Boys), Waqar Ashraf of the Sir Syed Model Public School and College, Haripur, got First position with 895 marks followed by Zeshan Jawed of the Telecom Boys Public School and College, Haripur, with 894 marks, who secured Second position, while Muhammad Waqas Rafiq of the Abbottabad Public School and College bagged Third position with 892 marks.

In the Pre-Engineering Group (Girls), Benish Zahoor of the Abasien Public School and College, Mansehra, with 895 marks got First position while Rabia Javed of the Al-Quran Beacon Public School and College, Mansehra, with 889 marks secured Second and Munaza Razzaq of the Jinnah Jamia Public School and College, Haripur, with 880 marks, Third positions.

In the Pre-Engineering Group (Boys), Ehsan Rasheed of the Abbottabad Public School with 928 marks got First position while Hassan of the Pakistan Scout Cadet College, Batrasi, with 917 marks got Second and Mansoor Khan Jadoon of the Abbottabad Public School, with 912 marks, bagged Third position.

In the General Group, Rabia Shaheen of the Jinnah Jamia Public School and College, Haripur, with 915 marks bagged the First position while Nosheen Ali of the Al-Quran Beacon Public School and College, Mansehra, with 883 marks secured Second position among girls.

Farhan Ali of the Abbottabad Public School (APS) got First position with 838 marks while Saeed Ashraf of the Pakistan International Public School with 835 marks secured Second and Muhammad Suhail of the Abbottabad Public School with 819 marks got Third position.
