OPPO is launching its new selfie phone F5, which will be the company's first device to feature a full screen, edge to edge, bezel less display and AI technology for sharp selfies.

The phone will also have a speedy facial unlock feature. A full list of features and price of the F5 are yet to be officially released by the Chinese manufacturer.

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in OPPO F5 can analyse a selfie, and automatically improve and optimise it for best results. According to OPPO, the phone will use artificial intelligence from a massive global photo database to beautify selfies and enhance results.

This is the first time AI technology has been used for the front facing camera, making the F5 the device of choice for young consumers that love a good selfie.

OPPO’s first full-screen device

The F5's edge to edge, FHD+ display provides a vivid viewing experience without increasing the overall size of the device. The screen size and high resolution display makes the phone a great option for multimedia consumption, gaming, photo viewing and editing.

OPPO F5 Selfie Expert is expected to be in stores at the beginning of November, and will also feature an upgraded Android operating system.
