Tribal chief vows to resolve disputes

LARKANA, Aug 24: The new chief of the Jalbani tribe, Agha Ali Nawaz Khan Jalbani, has pledged to bring an end to feuds between his tribesmen and help settle disputes among other communities of Sindh.

Terming the tribal disputes a suicidal tendency for the Sindhi society, the young tribal chief appealed his counterparts to join battle with him against the fratricidal phenomenon.

Speaking at a ceremony held in Masudero village near here on Sunday to install him as the new chief of his tribe, Agha Jalbani also urged the members of his tribe to educate their children.

On this occasion, Chehlum of his father and Pakistan Muslim League (functional) leader Sardar Allah Bukhsh Khan Jalbani was also observed.

The ceremony was attended by MPA Munawar Abbasi, Larkana PPP president Siraj Durrani, SNF leader Ameer Bukhsh Bhutto, Nawab Kamal Khan Bugti, Sardar Nadir Khan, Mir Majid Khan Sundrani and Abdul Nabi Khan Jalbani, other prominent personalities and the Jalbani tribesmen.
