Pakistan tennis trio off to Istanbul for friendly matches
KARACHI: A three-member Pakistan tennis team will fly to Istanbul from Islamabad on Saturday on a 10-day visit to play friendly matches against Turkish players at Koza Tennis Academy.
The trip has been arranged by the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) to provide international exposure to the players, particularly, the youth.
The team includes Pakistan’s top player Aqeel Khan, Yousuf Khan (Peshawar) and Mohammad Abid Mushtaq (Lahore).
Currently, the players are engaged in the Subh-e-Nau tennis at Islamabad and the event concludes on Friday.
