HARIPUR: A local journalist, Khanzada Amjad Khan, passed away after prolonged illness here on Saturday. He was 75.

The deceased was the founder president of the Haripur Press Club. He was associated with daily Jang for a long time.

He has left behind three sons and a daughter. He was the first cousin of Mohammad Sadaqat, the Dawn correspondent in Haripur. The deceased would be laid to rest in his native Pandak village today (Sunday).
