Over 100 Indian yatris visit Ghotki
SUKKUR: Over 100 Indian pilgrims led by their spiritual leader, Yadashtar Lal, left Khanpur Mahar town of Ghotki district on Saturday after visiting the birthplace of Pooj Mata Haasi Devi and performing religious rituals at the Shaddani Darbar shrine a day earlier.
Stringent security arrangements were made for the movement of the 102 yatris since their arrival on Friday morning in a caravan. They were escorted to various religious places by a strong contingent of law-enforcement agencies.
The yatris were warmly welcomed by Khanpur Hindu Panchayat chief Mukhi Makhand Ram and others including Aatam Das, Sunder Das, Sri Chand Kapoor and Washan Das.
The Shaddani Darbar wore a festive look on the occasion of the pilgrimage.
