PTI accuses Ali Musa Gillani's guards of opening fire at Imran Khan's convoy

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday accused Ali Musa Gillani's guards of opening fire on a vehicle which was part of Imran Khan's convoy, DawnNews reported.

"Gillani, through his armed guards, orchestrated an attack on the convoy of Imran Khan," said PTI in an official statement. All individuals remained unharmed in the attack as the vehicle was bulletproof, the PTI said.

Ali Musa Gillani, the son of former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani, however, categorically denied the allegation. "How can I open fire on a convoy travelling with police protocol?" he asked.

In his counter-accusation against the PTI, Ali alleged that a vehicle from Khan's motorcade hit his car.

"I registered a complaint about the incident soon after it happened. The police told me that Imran Khan's convoy had passed from there," he said.

Imran Khan's motorcade was coming from Okara at the time of the alleged accident.
