LAHORE: Faisalabad with 603 and 462 points won the first position in both the male and female categories respectively in the the Bahria Punjab Archery Championships here on Monday.

Lahore with 548 points and Gujranwala with 506 points remained second and third respectively in the Men’s category.

In the Women’s category, while Faisalabad held sway, Lahore seized second place with 373 points, followed by Bahawalpur which claimed third place.

In the Women’s individual category, Nighat with 509 points remained first followed by Aqsa (460 points) and Sadaf (448 points).

In Men’s individual, Hafiz Abdul Rehman with 582 points, Nouman with 549 and Faheem with 476 points claimed first, second and third position respectively.

Nouman and Saira Dilshad were declared as best men and women’s archers.

Men and women archers from Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Multan, Sargodha and Dera Ghazi Khan contested in the two-day event.
