LAHORE: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) indu­cted Farhat Khan and Qasim Khan into the national selection committee headed by Olympian Hassan Sardar on Tuesday.

Ayaz Mahmood and Mussadiq Hussain are the other two members of the committee.

The decision was taken just one day after Farhat decided to quit as the national side’s head coach, citing his official assignments with Pakistan Customs as the reason.

However, Farhat had said he was ready to work with the PHF on any other post.
