Qalandars, Kings add two more players to PSL squads
LAHORE: Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings picked up two players each while the other four Pakistan Super League (PSL) added one each to their squads for the third edition to be played next year.
The Qalandars included Salman Irshad from talent hunt category and Imran Khan Junior from emerging category with the Kings doing the same with Mushtaq Ahmed Kalhoro and Mohammad Taha respectively.
Debutants Multan Sultans added Test opener Shan Masood from silver category, Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators included Rohail Nazir and Mohammad Junaid respectively from talent hunt while holders Peshawar Zalmi picked Khushdil Shah from the emerging category.
“The pool of available players included unselected players from the PSL draft, players brought in through scouting and talent hunt campaigns, and players who took part in the National T20 Cup held in Rawalpindi last month,” a PCB press release stated.
The third edition of the glitzy Twenty20 league will be played in both UAE and Pakistan in February and March next year.
