Three houses burgled in Gujar Khan

GUJAR KHAN: Burglars broke into three houses in Gujar Khan police area on Saturday and looted cash and other valuables.

Mohammad Naveed of Iqbal Nagar reported to the police that his family was away when some burglars broke into the house and stole gold ornaments and cash.

Mohammad Mansha, another resident of Ward No 7 of Gujar Khan city, reported to the local police that his family had gone to a marriage ceremony in the locality.

When they returned they found locks of the house broken and gold ornaments worth Rs600,000 were missing.

Aamir Naseer of Jand Najar village also reported to the Gujar Khan police that some burglars looted gold ornaments, cash as well as foreign currency amounting to Rs3 million.

The residents urged the regional police officer Rawalpindi to take notice of the crime surge in the area.
