Bilawal flays PML-N for crisis in Balochistan
LAHORE: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says the PML-N will be responsible if the assemblies fail to complete their term.
Talking to the media on Saturday, he criticised the PML-N on the political crisis in Balochistan.
“It seems what is happening against the PML-N in Balochistan may also happen at the national level. If the assemblies do not complete their tenure, only the PML-N will be responsible for this,” he said, adding that he wished the parliament would complete its term and election held on time.
Political crisis is brewing in Balochistan after some legislators last week submitted a no-trust motion against Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri. Former Home Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti said the number of legislators supporting the no-trust motion had reached 26 as more resignations (of the ruling PML-N and other parties) were in the pipeline.
Replying a question, Bilawal asked how the PPP could play a role in Balochistan Assembly while not having a single MPA there.
State Minister Talal Chaudhry had alleged former President Asif Ali Zardari was ‘investing money’ for dissolution of the Balochistan Assembly.
Commenting on reports of PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s third marriage, he said if the news was true then he congratulated him.
