Cage, Selma Blair terrorise kids in trailer for Mom and Dad

Momentum Pictures has released the official trailer for Mom and Dad, a horror-comedy starring Nicolas Cage, Selma Blair, Anne Winters and Zackary Arthur.

Written and directed by Brian Taylor, the movie had its world premiere at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. It is to open in select theatres, and will be available digitally and via video on demand January 19.

Mom and Dad is about “a worldwide mass hysteria where, for 24 brutal hours, parents turn violently against their own children.”

The two-minute preview clip shows Cage and Blair, as well as countless other suburban adults, psychotically terrorising their kids. Seems scary, but don’t worry, of course the kids find a way out of it.

Shakira announces new US, European tour dates

Shakira has announced new dates for her European and North American ElDorado World Tour. The singer postponed the tour in November due to lingering complications from a vocal cord haemorrhage.

“To my dear fans and friends, I wanted to write one more letter to express my gratitude to all of you for the immeasurable love and support that you have sent me these past few weeks,” Shakira wrote on Instagram.

“You have made me feel that my voice is not only mine but also yours, and that it has a purpose. There were times when your prayers and messages of affection and encouragement along with those of my family were the only thing buoying my spirits,” she continued.

“Thankfully, I am so relieved and happy to share with you that I will be getting back on the road in June 2018 with my El Dorado World Tour in Europe, and the US, with Latin America dates to be announced soon.”

The new trailer of Black Panther released

Chadwick Boseman and Angela Bassett discuss inheriting the throne of Wakanda in a new trailer for Marvel’s next superhero epic, Black Panther.

The action-packed clip features Boseman leaping into action as the Black Panther, as he protects his home country and the world from the villainous Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan).

“The Black Panther has protected the world for generations,” Boseman says. “It is your time,” Bassett, who portrays the hero’s stepmother, Ramonda, adds.

The trailer also includes glimpses of Andy Serkis as villain Ulysses Klaue and Lupita Nyong’o as Dora Milaje member Nakia. In the pages of Marvel comics, the Dora Milaje were an elite group of female bodyguards who protect the king of Wakanda.

Directed by Ryan Coogler (Creed), Black Panther is set to release in theatres on February 16.
