Army Burn Hall College stamp

KARACHI: The Pakistan Post Office (PPO) has released a commemorative postage stamp of Rs8 denomination to mark the 75th anniversary of Army Burn Hall College, Abbottabad.

The stamp is designed by Naveed Awan and printed by the National Security Printing Company, Karachi.

Burn Hall traces its history back to 1943 when a team of missionaries from Mill Hill, London, established a school in Srinagar. After partition, the school was shifted to Abbottabad and developed extensively. In 1976, it was handed over to the Pakistan Army after the Fathers faced problems in running the institution.
