Teacher booked for ‘harassing’ students

NAROWAL: Police on Wednesday arrested a schoolteacher and registered a case against him for alleged sexual harassment of girl students.

Five students, studying in class-III, IV and V at a government primary school, complained to their parents that their teacher would sexually harass them and show them porn clips on his mobile and laptop.

On Wednesday, parents of the girls visited the City Narowal police station and lodged a complaint against the teacher, who is acting as headmaster now-a-days and is in his 50’s.

DPO Imran Kishwar also reached the police station and investigated the matter.

Two of the students alleged that the teacher had been harassing them for the last two years.

Police have registered a case and arrested the suspect.
