Punjab contingent off to Peshawar for Games
LAHORE: A 325-member Punjab contingent left for Peshawar on Friday to defend their Inter-Provincial Games title for the fourth consecutive time. The Games start on March 18.
Punjab women will compete in 10 games while their men will feature in 26 disciplines.
Director Sports Punjab Javed Rasheed Chohan saw off the contingent with best wishes. Deputy Director Hafeez Bhatti, Punjab Olympic Association (PbOA) Secretary Idris Haider Khawaja, DSO Sahiwal Akbar Murad and Assistant Director Raees-ur-Rehman were also present o see of the contingent.
