• Says there is is corruption in every department. In 2010, during his speech in the NA as the federal minister for railways, Bilour said: "I am not saying that there is no corruption in my ministry (Railways) but then which department is free from corruption?"

• Staunchly against blasphemy; in September 2012, Bilour, while talking to media in Peshawar, announced that he would give $100,000 as reward to whoever kills a controversial American filmmaker. Furthermore, he said that if an opportunity presents itself, he would kill the filmmaker himself.

• He's a strong opponent of Kala Bagh Dam. In 2015, when Imran Khan expressed his support for Kala Bagh Dam, Bilour held a press conference and said that supporting the project is tantamount to hatching conspiracy against country's integrity.
