Most DCs transferred

LAHORE: The Punjab government did not notify the names of administrative and police officials whose transfer and posting was approved by the Election commission of Pakistan but the list of the officials that went viral on Wednesday showed that the number was massive.

The list shows transfer of almost all deputy commissioners in the Punjab. The list showed the following as DCs: FIA Director Syed Fawad Ahmad (Faisalabad), Deputy Home Secretary Usman Ali (Chakwal), Additional Home Secretary Tahir Wattoo (Sialkot), OSD Zeeshan Javed (Narowal), Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Director Mehtab Waseem (Mandi Bahauddin), Additional Forest Secretary Rafaqat Ali (Layyah), OSD Amir Aqiq (Bhakkar), Jhang DC Mudassar Riaz Malik (Multan), Additional Secretary of S&GAD Irfan Khan (Vehari), Nouman Yousaf (Pakpattan), ACE Deputy Director Rizwan Nazir (Okara), Dera Ghazi Khan Political Assistant Jameel Ahmad Jameel (Rahim Yar Khan), Lahore Finance and Planning ADC Waqar Rasheed (Kasur), Bahawalpur DC Muhammad Azhar Hayat (Sheikhupura), Controller of Printing Press Dr Shoaib Tariq Warraich (Gujranwala), OSD Zahid Iqbal Awan (Mianwali), Vehari DC Ali Akbar Bhatti (DG Khan), Bahawalpur Additional Commissioner Saqib Ali Ateel (Lodhran), and Hafizabad ADC Revenue Allah Ditta Warraich (Rajanpur).
