PTI makes its tit-for-tat move against Iftikhar Chaudhry
Former chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry's newborn political party had recently challenged PTI chief Imran Khan's elections eligibility on the basis of his alleged daughter and former relationships, yada yada yada.
Khan is desperate to partake and win the upcoming polls so Chaudhry's attempt to put him out of the race before the race has even begun was never going to be taken lightly.
In comes a Chaudhry of Khan's own: Fawad.
PTI's information secretary has asked the NAB chairman to launch an investigation against his partial namesake. Fawad alleges that the former CJP and his family received benefits in a scam involving a failed private housing scheme.
Fawad also warns that if action isn't taken, "questions would be raised about the impartiality of NAB".
