Notice issued to Bilawal over ‘unauthorised’ gathering

DADU: Deputy Commissioner Tariq Manzoor Chandio of Dadu on Monday issued a notice to PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari for allegedly violating the code of conduct spelt out by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for the 2018 general elections.

According to the contents of the notice, it is reported by the monitoring team of PS-83 Dadu that you [Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari] arranged a rally within the jurisdiction of Dadu district without permission on July 22 and caused hindrances in the smooth flow of traffic. It reminded the PPP chairman that his action was a violation of Section 34 of the code of conduct.

MITHI: The district administration of Tharparkar issued a notice to PPP Senators Engineer Gianchand and Krishna Kolhi for allegedly violating ECP’s code of conduct during their party’s public meeting in Nagarparkar on Sunday which was addressed by Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.
