Multan: Yousuf Raza Gilani advised by police not to go cast his vote due to security threats

A police contingent paid a visit to former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani at his Multan residence and advised him to refrain from going out to cast his vote.

The Multan RPO brief Gilani about the security concerns he is facing.

Gilani's vote is registered in Hamid Pur Kanora and had plans of casting his ballot at 10 in the morning.

PTI's Shah Mehmood Qureshi is also facing security threats in Multan along with Malik Asif Rafique Rajwana, the son of Punjab Governor Malik Rafique Rajwana.

In addition, former federal minister Sikandar Bosan is also under threat.

All the above mentioned political leaders have been advised to restrict their movement and refrain from going to crowded areas.
