Girls top Mardan HSSC exam results
MARDAN: Girls students clinched top positions in the higher secondary school certificate examination results announced by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Mardan, here on Tuesday.
The results were announced at a ceremony held at the auditorium of the board which was attended of PTI MNA-elect Mujahid Khan as chief guest, the top 20 position holders, their parents, relatives and other officials.
Sara Khizar of Noor Education School and College, Kheshgi Bala Nowshera, and Erum Raziq of Peace Group of Schools and Colleges, Mardan, shared the first position by obtaining 994 marks each.
Farishta Irshad of Peace School and College, Nowshera Cantonment, with 992 marks obtained second position while Fazil Shah of Kernal Sher Khan Cadet College, Swabi, with 991 marks bagged the third position.
The top three position holders belong to the science group.
In pre-engineering, Qasim Shah of Suffah College, Adina Swabi, stood first with 986 marks, Sahibzada Aafaq Ahmad of Quaid-i-Azam College, Swabi, with 984 marks stood second and Mohammad Usman Khan of Kernal Sher Khan Cadet College, Swabi, with 982 marks bagged the third position.
In general science, Ruba Khan of Punjab College of Kandar, Nowshera, with 950 marks, Hussam Ali Durrani of Peace Group of Schools and Colleges, Mardan, with 916 marks and Hira Farooq of Islamia Degree College for Girls, Nowshera, with 914 marks secured first, second and third positions, respectively.
