Two killed as rivals trade fire in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: Two people were killed and two others wounded in exchange of fire between rival parties over a women dispute at Shabara area here on Friday.

Prang police quoted an injured person, Syed Ali Khan as saying that Taj Wali, Omair Zuber and Majeed Gul opened fire on his uncle, Nisar and himself, killing Nisar on the spot.

However, Taj Wali Khan from the other group reported to police that accused Nisar, Syed Ali and Kamal shot dead his brother, Sajid Gul, and injured him (Wali).

The reason behind the incident was stated to be a women issue.

The police registered cross FIRs and started further investigations.
