153 top positions bagged by Punjab Colleges this year in Intermediate and Secondary Board exams

Students from a wide number of public and private colleges bag an admirable number of positions in intermediate examinations this year. The passing percentage across nine intermediate boards in Punjab remains 59.87% this year.

Top results from Punjab Colleges' students

Giving tough competition to several other renowned colleges, students from the Punjab Colleges bagged 153 top positions across all boards.

Star performers include:

  • Kashaf SanaUllah from Punjab College Lahore: Overall 1st position in All Board Intermediate Result ’18 with 1062/1100 marks

  • Samreen Shahid from Punjab College Multan: Overall 1st position in Punjab College Multan in Board of Intermediate & secondary education with 1052/1100 marks

  • Maliha Maryam from Punjab College Sialkot: Overall 1st position in BISE Gujranwala Result with 1051/1100 marks

  • Mehwish Saleem from Punjab College Faisalabad: Overall 1st Position in BISE Faisalabad Result with 1051/1100 marks

  • Faryal Pervez from Punjab College Kot Addu: Overall 1st Position In BISE DG Khan Result with 1057/1100 marks

  • Zaheka Tul Jannat from Punjab College Chakwal: Overall 1st Position in BISE Rawalpindi with 1048/1100 marks

  • Hammad Saleem (1058/1100 marks), Masooma Zainab (1058/1100 marks) and Momina Maham (1058/1100 marks) from Punjab College Sargodha: Overall 1st position in Federal Board Result ’18

Lahore Board

  • Punjab Group of Colleges: Three overall positions and 21 total top positions

  • Government College: Seven positions

Bahawalpur Board

  • Government Degree College Bahawalnagar: Overall first position

  • Fouji Foundation College: Overall second position

  • Punjab Group of Colleges: A total of 10 top positions

  • Superior College: Two positions

DG Khan Board

  • Punjab Group of Colleges: Three overall positions and a total 10 top positions

  • Govt PG Layyah: Three positions

  • Govt College Women Muzzafargarh: Three positions

Gujranwala Board

  • Punjab Group of Colleges: Three overall positions and 28 total top positions

  • KIPS College: Two positions

  • Superior College: Three positions

Sahiwal Board

  • DPS Sahiwal: two overall positions and total six positions

  • Punjab Group of Colleges: 11 top positions

Rawalpindi Board

  • Punjab Group of Colleges: Two overall positions with 18 top positions

  • Superior College: One position

  • Kallar Kahar Science College Chakwal: Three positions

Federal Board

  • Punjab Group of Colleges: Overall first and second position, and a total of 12 top positions

Faisalabad Board

  • Punjab Group of Colleges: Three overall positions with 19 top positions

  • KIPS College & Superior College: 6th and 2nd position respectively

Sargodha Board

  • ILM College: Overall first position with four positions in total

  • DPS College Khushab: overall second position

  • Superior College: three positions only

  • Punjab Group of Colleges: 10 top positions in total

Multan Board

  • Punjab Group of Colleges: Overall first and third positions with 11 top positions collectively

  • KIPS College: Four positions

  • Nishat College and Burten College: Two positions

A closer look at the aforementioned results reveals that Punjab Colleges stole the show by bagging the highest number of top positions in All Boards Intermediate Result ’18. Whereas, other government colleges like GCU & Kinnaird College secured 7 & 1 position respectively. Furthermore, eight positions were secured by students who appeared privately in All Boards Intermediate Exams.

Interestingly, students from Punjab Colleges have the highest number of positions in all science subjects including, pre-medical, pre-engineering & I.C.S.
