Measles vaccination campaign in Attock

ATTOCK: Measles vaccination campaign was launched in Attock on Friday during which 298,000 children aging from nine to 32 months would be vaccinated against the disease.

Speakers at the inauguration ceremony highlighted the importance of vaccination and the steps being taken by the government to check the disease.

They said that different activities had been arranged to make the vaccination campaign successful.

All the hospitals and health centers in the district are offering their services. The health department has constituted teams which will administer vaccine to children in different areas of the district.

The speakers appealed to the people to extend maximum cooperation to the vaccination teams in order to protect future generations from this disease.
