Tahirul Qadri hospitalised
LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri was hospitalised on Monday for cyst issue, which he had developed on the chest, and was operated upon at a private hospital.
According to party spokesman Noorullah Siddiqui, Qadri has been suffering from pain in the chest ever since he returned to the country but, of late, developed temperature and the doctors advised him to undergo surgery.
According to him, the party chief was operated later in the day and recovering fast. Though the party chief was still under the influence of anaesthesia, the doctors have declared the surgery successful and advised a few days rest to the PAT chief.
