Second round of National Ranking Tennis complete

TAXILA: The second round of the third National Ranking Tennis Tournament started at the Pakistan Ordnance Factories tennis court in Wah on Tuesday.

The tournament, being organised by the Pakistan Tennis Federa­tion in collaboration with the POF sports control board, will be featuring players from all over the country.

Results:

Men’s Singles (second round):

Aqeel Khan beat Malik Abdul Rehman: 6-4, 6-2: Muzammil Murtaza beat Huzaifa Abdul

Reham: 6-4, 6-3; Mudassir Murtaza beat Ahmed

Babar: 6-1, 6-0; M. Shoaib beat Saqib Hayat 6-1, 6-4; Gibran ul Haq beat Subhan bin Salik 6-1,6-2; Abid Akbar beat Heera Ashiq 6-4, 6-4; M. Abid beat Ahmed Chowdhury 6-2, 7-6 (2).

Men’s Doubles (first round):
