SHEIKHUPURA: Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar visited the Sheikhupura District Headquarters Hospital on Thursday after his security staffers were injured and treated at the hospital.

The chief justice was traveling to Lahore from Islamabad when near the Kot Ranjeet toll plaza, one his squad’s vehicles overturned after its front tyre burst leaving police personnel Umar, Waqas, Shahid, Rafaqat, Rashid, Zahid and Asghar injured. Of them, Asghar was shifted to Lahore in a critical condition.

The chief justice visited the hospital and inquired after the health of the injured officials.

District administration officials also arrived at the hospital after hearing about the presence of the chief justice. Justice Nisar asked doctors to treat the officials carefully. He remained there for sometime and got tested his blood pressure.
