Heatwave proves fatal for more in Sahiwal
SAHIWAL, June 21: Five more people died of heat on Tuesday raising the two-day death toll to 25. Those died on Tuesday included Rashid Ahmad, 60, of Wapda Colony, Ferozedin of Karachi, 60, Waziran, 60, of city, Rashidan, 40, of Kot Khadim Ali Shah and Haji Yaqoob of Mauza Tibbi. Yaqoob. Meanwhile, gastroenteritis death toll rose to 10 when Riaz died in hospital on Tuesday.
DHQ hospital sources said it treated 75 patients but still six were being treated in medical ward and 15 in the children ward.
