Blind Cricket Championship begins in Peshawar
PESHAWAR: The 2nd Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) Blind Cricket Championship 2018 organized by Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) was inaugurated at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium, Peshawar on Monday.
The five-day tournament will bring together six teams from Islamabad, Bahawalpur, Attock, Peshawar, Gujranwala and Abbottabad with the final to be played on December 1here in Peshawar.
Abbottabad will clash against Peshawar while Bahawalpur takes on Attock on the opening day.
Chairman, Pakistan Blind Cricket Council Syed Sultan Shah officially opened the tournament in the presence of officials from PPL and PBCC, cricket enthusiasts and media at the stadium. The trophy for the final was also unveiled on the occasion.
Chief Guest on the occasion was Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Science and Information Technology, Kamran Khan Bangash, along with CEO PPL Saeedullah Shah.
