Two boys killed in Sibi accident

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Two youngsters were crushed under the wheels of a government water tanker, while a third one received injuries on Chakar Khan Road in Sibi on Monday.

According to police, three boys Irfan, 12; Ismail, 13; and Farhan, 15, were riding a motorbike when a speedy tanker knocked them down from behind. Irfan and Ismail died on the spot, while Farhan was rushed to the District Hospital Sibi. The tanker’s Driver made good his escape, leaving the tanker behind. Police took the vehicle into its custody and registered a case against the driver.

Meanwhile, relatives of the deceased boys blocked the highway in protest.
