Minor boy ‘assaulted’ in Narowal

NAROWAL: A shopkeeper allegedly raped a three-year-old boy in Totaywali on Friday.

The child went to the shop to buy a candy where the suspect assaulted him and fled. The child was being treated at the Narowal District Headquarters Hospital.

The Saddar police registered a case against the shopkeeper.

PROTEST: Residents of Ghumnan village staged a protest outside the district police head office on Friday against the rising incidents of rustling.

Protesters Muhammad Sarwar and Ghulam Ali said that rustlers had taken away 100 sheep from the village in recent days but the Baddomalhi police did not register cases.
