HYDERABAD: Plea to translate science books into Sindhi

HYDERABAD, July 8: The chairman of the Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association, Prof Liaquat Aziz, and professors of the Sindh University have called upon Vice-Chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui to improve the performance of the Bureau of Compilation and Translation so that scientific books written in other languages can be translated into Sindhi. They congratulated Mr Siddiqui on his reappointment as the vice chancellor of the university for the third time.

They said revolutionary changes were required in the examination department to ensure holding of examinations and announcement of results in time.

Meanwhile, addressing employees of the university, Mr Siddiqui expressed the hope that the university employees would continue their cooperation for the noble cause of education.

Dr Siddique Kalhoro said Mr Siddiqui was the only vice-chancellor in the history of Sindh University who had been appointed for the third time.
