President, governor, minister visit bereaved families
KARACHI: President Dr Arif Alvi, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi here on Sunday visited the residences of four people martyred in the terrorist attack on two mosques in New Zealand’s city of Christchurch and condoled with the bereaved families.
The martyrs from Karachi so far identified are: Zeeshan Raza, his mother Karam Bibi and father Ghulam Hussain and Areeb Ahmed.
President Dr Arif Alvi visited the house of Zeeshan Raza in Karachi on Sunday, who along with his father, Ghulam Hussain, and mother, Karam Bibi, was martyred in the terrorist attack.
The president offered fateha for the departed souls and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
President Alvi also visited the house of Areeb Ahmed, 26-year-old chartered accountant, in Karachi’s Federal B Area, who was martyred in the attack.
