You can do it
This is with reference to the article “You can do it!” by Ambreena Bibi (YW, March 9). The article was indeed praiseworthy. I really appreciate the writer for writing on a much-needed topic for the youth.
However, I would like to correct her when she writes the quote, “If winter comes, can spring be far behind” by John Keats; this should be noted here that this quote is actually written by another romantic poet of Keats’ time, Percy Bysshe Shelley in Ode to the West Wind...

The article “You can do it!” by Ambreena Bibi was great and it changed me for the better, especially the lines, “Pessimism knocks at our doors. Don’t let this phase appear; don’t let it transform your agility into sluggishness.”
The magazine is always a treat to read and I love all the articles and stories in it.

Sprinkle of fun
This is with reference to the website review “Sprinkle of fun” by Asif Ali (YW, March 2). The writer has done an excellent job. I visited the website and found it to be very helpful and beneficial. The website provides science-related answers in an easy language. Keeping in mind the educational system of Pakistan, the website is providing additional knowledge which is far better and easy to learn in various fields of science.
Young World magazine always brings amazing and useful articles for kids and I hope it continues doing so.

Boost your brain power
This is with reference to the article “Boost your brain power” by Farhan Bukhari (YW, March 2). The article explained wonderfully about the brain and its power.
I also came to know about the left and right sides of the brain. The article also told about how powerful our brain is and how we should take care of it.

The carnival
The story “The carnival” by Huzaifa Sheikh (YW, February 23). The story basically focussed the important issue of children’s ignorance of their parents’ directions and thinking that their plans are better than their parents’.
But in reality, they are wrong. Our parents are older than us and more mature, so they know this world better than us kids. We should never ignore them and always take their permission before doing anything so that we should always have our parents to support us.

The story “Carnival” by Huzaifa Sohail gave a bundle of lessons to kids, including the important one that we should not go against our parents’ will because our parents know about the possibilities of unwanted events, just like the boy in the story, who went against his mother’s wishes thus got lost. However, his mother kept an eye on him and taught him the important lesson of what happens if one ignores his/her orders.

Do what you are good at
This is regarding the article, “Do what you are good at” by Ayesha Sohail (YW, February 23). This article was a reminder to all students to make their career choices by keeping in view their interests.
The article was not only for students, but also for parents and teachers who play an important role in making career choices of a student. They should support and advice the kids, but never impose anything on them.

The article “Do what you are good at” by Ayesha Sohail was a wonderful article. The writer emphasis on one’s interests being crucial to one’s success was so right.
I agree with her point that we should not compare ourselves with others because everyone is different and is blessed with different skills. Their skills are what make them successful in their chosen field. So one should observe their interests and skills and decide the future accordingly.
