Sarfraz Nawaz admitted to London hospital

LONDON: Former Pakistan fast bowler Sarfraz Nawaz was admitted to a London hospital on Friday due to a heart condition.

The 70-year-old Sarfraz played 55 Tests, capturing 177 wickets while in 45 One-day Internationals he took 63 wickets besides taking 1,005 first-class wickets.

A fine seam and swing bowler, Sarfraz is best known for his magnificent nine for 86 against Australia at Melbourne in 1979 that included a lethal spell of seven wickets for just one run in 33 balls.
