I AM a resident of Peshawar, the business hub of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. My city was known as the city of flowers, but now it resembles a post-apocalyptic battleground with construction and dust everywhere.

There is a cloud of dust hovering above our heads. And there is only one culprit…the BRT.

The bus rapid transit system has not been managed properly and, because of this, the entire city is suffering. Many people have developed asthma and allergies while others claim business has gone down.

I appeal to the provincial government to quickly finish the work so that we can get on with our lives.
