Qureshi, Nato chief review cooperation
ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi met Nato secretary general Jens Stoltenberg at the headquarters of North Atlantic Treaty Organisation in Brussels on Monday.
The two sides reviewed the status of bilateral cooperation, and exchanged views on the regional, political and security situation. The meeting was also attended by the Nato deputy secretary general Rose Gottemoeller.
Briefing on Pakistan’s efforts for peace and stability in South Asia, Mr Qureshi said Pakistan pursued a policy of peace with all its neighbours and seeks to resolve all outstanding issues, including the Kashmir dispute, through dialogue and engagement.
Secretary General Stoltenberg noted that the regular political and military engagements between Pakistan and Nato had contributed towards strengthening of collaboration on issues of mutual interest.
