Matric exam results: Three students share first position in BISE Sahiwal, five share third in Bahawalpur
BAHAWALPUR: Sharing top positions in the boards of intermediate and secondary education (BISEs) remained the trend this year not only in the Bahawalpur board but in others too as the names of position-holders of the secondary school certificate (matriculation) examination 2019 were announced in the province on Sunday.
In BISE Bahawalpur, two girls of district Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan shared the overall first position, two boys of Fort Abbas in Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan remained second while five girls shared the third position.
Ayesha Yasin of the Government Girls High School, Minchinabad, and Areeba Noor of National Garrison Secondary High School, Rahim Yar Khan, secured 1,086 marks out of 1,100 and shared the first position. Muhammad Talha of Government High School, Fort Abbas, and Syed Moizul Haq Bokhari of Sheikh Zayed Higher Secondary Public School, Rahim Yar Khan, were declared second with 1,085marks. The five girls who shared the overall third position by securing 1,083 marks were Umm-e-Zainab of Government Girls High School, Haroonabad, district Bahawalnagar, Maria Amin of Dominican Convent Girls High School, Bahawalpur, Nimra Fatimah of Madrassatul Banaat Girls High School, Sadiqabad, Umm-e-Hani of Chishtian Science Girls School, Chishtian, and Aleeza Batool of Punjab Girls High School, Chishtian.
SAHIWAL: Three students, two boys and a girl, stood first by securing 1,088 marks in 2019 the BISE Sahiwal.
According to the result, announced by Hafiz Muhammad Sharif, chairman BISE Sahiwal, Zakiriya Khalid of District Public School for Boys, Okara, Muhammad Irqam Aftab, of The Educators, Okara, and Sahla Waqas of The Farqaleet System of School, Okara, shared the first position with 1,088 marks.
Sara Umer of Divisional Public School, Chichawatni, got the second position with 1,087 marks while Arooba Tayyab of the Government Junior Model High School remained third position with 1,086 marks.
Dr Fida, controller exams of the board, told Dawn the success percentage in the board remained 72.70pc. He said 65,918 candidates had submitted admission forms of the exam, 65,164 of them sat it while 47,374 passed it.
DERA GHAZI KHAN: In the results announced by BISE Dera Ghazi Khan, the overall first position was obtained by Mahim Ashraf of Sardar Kauray Khan Girls Higher Secondary School, Muzaffargarh by getting 1,092 marks. The second position was bagged by Aliha Fatima of Kids Heaven Girls School, Kot Addu, Muzaffargarh, with 1,091 marks while the third position Huria Fatima of Divisional Public Girls High School, Dera Ghazi Khan, with 1,089 marks.
SARGODHA: All the top three positions in the BISE Sargodha were captured by girl students.
Laiba Ifitkhar and Asver Gul, both of KCP Model Girls Higher Secondary School, KCP Colony Chowk, Girote, district Khushab, shared the first position with 1,089 marks each. Ayesha Nawaz Dar-i-Arqam Girls High School, Bhakkar, stood second with 1,085 marks. Aliza Haider of DPS Bhakkar, Rushan Zahra Rizvi of Allied School Girls, Bhakkar, and Fatima Asma of Dar-i-Arqam Girls School, Jauharabad, shared third position with1,083 marks.
