SUKKUR: It seems as if ‘selected’ Prime Minister Imran Khan during his visit to the United States (US) has bargained over the issue of Kashmir and many other things.

This was stated by Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Sindh general secretary Maulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro while addressing a press conference at the residence of Hafiz Rab Nawaz Chachar in Kandhkot on Tuesday.

He said Pakistanis had been chanting slogan ‘Kashmir Banay Ga Pakistan’ for the past 70 years, but today a game of bloodshed was being played in Kashmir and people there were facing atrocities of Indian army.

The people of Pakistan, he said, would be with their Kashmiri brethren in their struggle and freedom movement, and such “bargain” over the Kashmir issue from the rulers would not be acceptable at all.

Maulana Soomro said the government had already failed so far to fulfil the promise of providing five million houses and 10 million jobs. People of the country were facing problems even in arranging two square meals a day due to corruption of the rulers.

Loans of the country had reached high levels and the amounts drawn by the present government during the past 11 months had not been drawn during the past 40 years.

He warned that there were three million JUI-F workers in the country who took oath that they were ready to fight the enemy along with Pakistan Army for Kashmir.

He asked if the rulers could open the Kartarpur border for the Sikh community people, why they did not open the border for their Kashmiri brethren.

Reiterating that the final solution of such problems was the JUI-F’s proposed million march in Islamabad, he said that more than five million workers of his party throughout the country would reach Islamabad.

He said innocent people were being killed in the interior of Sindh due to tribal clashes, but still they were kept deprived of their rights.

Other leaders of the JUI-F present on the occasion were Maulana Abdul Qayyum Halejvi, Maulana Saud Afzal Halejvi, Engineer Abid Lakho, Hafiz Rab Nawaz Chachar, Qari Mohammad Shafi Khoso, Maulana Shamsuddin Bheri and Hafiz Irfan Khoso.
