Hyderabad BISE announces HSC-II result

HYDERABAD: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Hyderabad announced results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Part-II of general science and pre-engineering groups for examinations-2019, at a ceremony held in the board conference hall on Monday.

In general science group, Hina Ikhlaq of Hayat Girls College got the first position with 886 marks. Muneeba of Latif Niazi Memorial Girls Higher Secondary School stood second with 837 marks while Auseela Rehmat stood third with 835 marks.

Only one student got A-1 grade out of 1,212 appeared in the examinations while 70 candidates secured A grade, 193 B grade, 311 C grade and 38 candidates secured D grade. Total 581 candidates were declared unsuccessful and results of 18 were withheld for various reasons.

Percentage of successful candidates in this group was calculated at 50.58.

In the pre-engineering group, Sher Mohammad of Cadet College Petaro stood first with 946 marks, Maria Pasha of College of Excellence for Girls Latifabad stood second with 935 marks while Hira of County Girls College Hyderabad stood third with 931 marks.

Total 18,801 candidates appeared in the examinations and of them, 543 got A-1 grade, 1,890 A grade, 4,016 B grade, 4,057 C grade and 778 D grade. Of the total 6,983 candidates were declared unsuccessful and results of 563 candidates were withheld for different reasons. Overall percentage of successful candidates in the group was 60.26.
