Video case: verdict proves Nawaz innocent: PML-N

LAHORE: The PML-N has said the verdict in the accountability court judge video case proves that former premier Nawaz Sharif is innocent, hence must be released forthwith.

Commenting on the release of the suspects in the video case, PML-N Information Secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Saturday that it was another proof that Nawaz Sharif was innocent and must be released immediately.

“The decision has once again exposed the lies, forgery and political victimisation of Imran Khan and proven that he (Khan) abused power to use the Federal Investigation Agency for his vengeful political victimisation.

The decision exposed the truth that another one of Khan’s conspiracies fell flat on its face. The day is not far when his lies and fake cases against Rana Sanaullah, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Hamza Shahbaz, Saad Rafique, Salman Rafique and others will face the same fate. His blatant lies will soon be exposed,” she claimed.

The former information minister said the incompetence, inability, mindless vengeance and blatant lies of the prime minister had been laid bare by the verdict.
