The Rise of Skywalker trailer to debut

Disney has recently announced it will release the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, starring Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and the late Carrie Fisher.

The movie is the latest instalment in the big-screen space epic that began in 1977. A previous preview showed Ridley’s Rey fighting an epic light-sabre battle with the villain, Kylo Ren (Driver), as heavy waves erupt from an ocean. She seems to have gone over to the dark side by the end of the clip, readying a red, double-sided light-sabre while wearing black clothing. So for all those fans out there, the movie is slated to release on December 20.


Honour for Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame will be honoured at the 2019 Hollywood Film Awards. the awards show producers announced in a press release that the film will receive the Hollywood Blockbuster Award at the awards show in November.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and EVP of production Victoria Alonso will accept the award at the ceremony November 3 in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Avengers: Endgame is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and stars Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson. The movie is the highest-grossing film of all time, earning more than $2.79 billion.

Director James Cameron saluted Avengers: Endgame in July after the film surpassed Avatar’s box-office record.


Lady Gaga falls off stage

If you are a fan of Lady Gaga, the news will worry you as the star recently had a tumble off a stage in Las Vegas, thus had to be checked for broken bones. Lady Gaga has revealed her fall off stage left doctors so worried they X-rayed nearly her whole body for broken bones.

The singer took a tumble after a fan decided to pick her up during the Las Vegas gig. Gaga took to Instagram to let fans know she’s OK, and even made light of the incident.

Referencing one of her biggest hits, she added: “Just Dance. Gonna be ok.”

The incident took place when Gaga invited a fan up on stage during her performance, and when the fan decided to pick up the singer, he lost his footing and tumbled with Gaga off the stage.
