Batman and Robert Pattinson’s voice!

Robert Pattinson is taking his upcoming role of Batman with everything he has, already getting the voice down pat. The star has revealed the inspiration behind the voice of the Caped Crusader as that of The Lighthouse co-star Willem Dafoe. In an interview, the Twilight actor was asked if he’d already practiced his Batman voice, a very important factor in the film.

Robert said: “Willem’s voice in this was quite inspiring for it, to be honest. It is pretty similar, the voice I’m gonna do, to Willem’s.”

Well that’s a pretty special insight into how RPatz is taking on the role. Batman is set to be directed by Matt Reeves, who took over from Ben Affleck when he stepped down in 2017.

A new game in Jumanji: The Next Level

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart must navigate a Jumanji game that is more dangerous than ever, in the latest trailer for Jumanji: The Next Level.

The clip follows Fridge (Ser’Darius Blain), Martha (Morgan Turner) and Bethany (Madison Iseman) looking for their friend Spencer (Alex Wolff) who appears to have re-entered the Jumanji video game.

The group are joined on the adventure by Danny DeVito, portraying Spencer’s grandpa Eddie and Danny Glover as his friend Milo.

The new Jumanji game challenges its players to survive scorching deserts, snowy mountains and a number of dangerous animals including a group of vicious monkeys.

Nick Jonas also returns to help and informs the group that Bethany’s in-game avatar is a horse. Jumanji: The Next Level, is set to arrive in theatres on December 13.

Animated Spider-Man sequel in 2022

Sony Pictures Animation tweeted that a sequel to an animated Spider-Man movie would be in theatres April 8, 2022.

The news came one day after the original film’s official Twitter account posted, “Our Spidey sense is tingling.”

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse opened in December 2018, becoming a holiday season smash and winning the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film. This is the first confirmed Spider-Verse project since.

Sony is also developing another live-action Spider-Man starring Tom Holland. Earlier this year, the studio’s deal with Marvel to share Spider-Man with the Disney-produced Marvel Cinematic Universe almost ended, but they were able to work out a deal to keep live-action Spider-Man in both worlds. Sony also produced the Spider-Man spin-off film Venom.
