TRAUMA CENTRE WITHOUT X-RAY FILMS: The Haripur Trauma Centre has been without X-Ray films for the last few days, exposing the patients to diagnostic problems, patients and official sources said on Sunday.
Patients said due to shortage of X-Ray films they had to get their X-Rays done from private facilities at heavy cost.
“I visited the trauma centre with a finger fracture where the doctor on duty asked me for getting the X-Ray done from a private clinic as the X-Ray machine of the hospital was short of films,” said Noor Elahi, whose two fingers were fractured after getting stuck in the fan belt of water sucking pump.
