HARIPUR: The district administration has decided to set up a help desk for resolving complaints of industrialists in Haripur.

This was stated by deputy commissioner Nadeem Nasir during a meeting with the office-bearers of Haripur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Hattar Industrialists Association.

A delegation led by Hattar Industrialists Association’s Haji Attaur Rehman called on the deputy commissioner in his office here on Friday. Mr Nasir said that the district administration had decided to set up a help desk to providing support to the entrepreneurs in getting their problems pertaining to the government departments resolved through one window facility.

The desk was being established at the DC office where a full-time official would take complaints by phone from the industrialists and communicate the same to the deputy commissioner for early resolution.

Mr Nasir said that proper directives would be issued to the departments for addressing genuine complaints. He hoped that precious time of industrialists would be saved with the formation of the help desk. He assured the industrialists and traders that the their genuine problems would be addressed without delay.

Haripur has over 200 functional industrial units in Hattar Industrial Estate while a new complex of industries was also in the process of development in the same vicinity.
