APROPOS the letter ‘Mimicking Bilawal’ (Dec 13). I agree with the writer that Prime Minister Imran Khan mimicking the leader of an opposition political party does not suit him, nor this august office.

Mimicking is the minimal level of intolerance. What happened in Lahore at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology the other day was the height of intolerant behaviour.

The end of tolerance in a society leads to a free-for-all which in a worst-case scenario descends into civil war.

Our top leadership and those at the helm of affairs need to set an example for correct and polite behaviour.
